There’s something brewing between Dunkin’ Donuts and Harpoon Brewery

For the second year in a row, New England’s most iconic coffee and doughnut chain is partnering with a regional brewery for a smooth, roasty seasonal treat.

Dunkin’ Donuts and Harpoon Brewery are collaborating to release Dunkin’ Coffee Porter, a 6% ABV, 28 IBU coffee porter brewed with Dunkin’ coffee beans.

According to the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, the label for the beer was approved last week. A spokesman from Harpoon confirmed the collaboration, but declined to offer any further details.

“As for the filings, Dunkin’ Donuts and Harpoon can confirm that something exciting for fans is brewing, but you’ll have to stay tuned for more details this fall – we promise it’ll be worth the wait,” said Chris Bonacci, Harpoon’s vice president of marketing.

According to the labels, the beer will be available in 12oz bottles and cans. In December 2017, Dunkin’ collaborated with Worcester’s Wormtown Brewery to release a draft-only, taproom exclusive DDark Roasted Brew to celebrate the winter solstice.

Here’s just another reason to look forward to #stoutszn! Stay tuned for further details around this fall’s release.

In the meantime, check out the rest of the labels below.
